PROTESTERS ATTACK U.S. EMBASSY IN TUNISIA
People gathered outside the US Embassy in Tunis, on September 14, 2012 to protest over the American short film ‘Innocence of Muslims’, denigrating the Prophet Muhammad.
Protesters clashed in fury with security forces who responded with tear gas in an attempt to disperse them.
Protesters stormed, ransacked the U.S. embassy and set fire to the American School despite shots fired by the police. Two protesters killed and 29 others injured.
